Small forest landowners often have limited options when it comes to managing their woodlot or generating income to pay for forest management activities. Come learn about the ways you can use forest farming to connect to your land in a meaningful way, reap ecological benefits from your forest, and actively manage your land with non-timber forest products like mushrooms, maple syrup, ginseng, and other forest botanicals.

The Catskill Forest Association (CFA) is a non-profit organization whose mission is to promote forest stewardship by providing forestry education and services to private landowners in the Catskill region.

As Education Forester for the Catskill Forest Association, Zahra Bellucci assists with field programs, provides consultations, contributes articles to the CFA News, and works to develop the forestry education services, social media content, and events offered by CFA. Prior to forestry, she spent several years living in the Catskill and Hudson Valley regions working in small-scale agriculture.
