Join Laura Chávez Silverman of The Outside Institute for a hands-on workshop in combining botanical ingredients into cocktails and spirit-free drinks that are both delicious and healing. We’ll review various foraging, preservation and mixology techniques, then shake and stir up delectable options using tinctures, bitters, juices, ferments and infusions featuring foraged ingredients such as black walnut, sweetfern, magnolia, knotweed, black locust, nettle and ramps. Sparkling probiotic quaff? Soothing sweet elixir? Antioxidant highball? Check, check, check. Light snacks highlighting flavors of the season will accompany our creations. Space is limited; advance registration is required. Registration is $125/person.
